Fundación Recal is a private non-profit organization based in Madrid, which was founded in 2001 by Maximilian Von Habsburg. Its primary objective is to provide help to individuals and their families, who are suffering from addiction to any substance or behaviour, and to help them reintegrate successfully into society.
Fundación is at the top of addiction treatment clinics, with its over 20 years’ experience.
Our Mission
Its primary objective is to provide help to individuals and their families, who are suffering from addiction to any substance or behaviour, and to help them reintegrate successfully into society.
The Foundation is also concerned with young people at risk and has developed a specific Program for them.
Our main centre is located in Majadahonda. Recal provides as well two supervised apartments in Pozuelo de Alarcón to ensure engagement of the patients to the Program during their second stage treatment. On the other side, an outpatient program is also available for those whose therapeutics needs request that kind of treatment.
All of our centres are licensed by the General Sub-Directorate of Addictions in the Community of Madrid, which is part of the Ministry of Health.
The Fundación Lealtad audits Fundación Recal, and we undergo an external audit annually to ensure transparency of our conduct.
Our mission
Our mission is to provide or facilitate:
1. Assistance, treatment, recovery and rehabilitation services to patients suffering from addictive disorders and/or behaviours, and in addition to provide support to families.
2. Break up with today´s society´s stigma about addiction. Social reintegration, including the employment of patients in recovery.
3. Continuing professional development of therapists in the addiction field.
